Armada Staffing Group is now hiring a skilled MIG/TIG Welder to support fabrication and production for a well-established facility. Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $19.00 – $21.00 per hour
Overtime: Potential on Fridays and weekends
Breaks: Two 10-minute breaks and one 30-minute lunch
Work Environment: Indoor manufacturing facility
Dress Code: Long pants, steel-toed boots, long-sleeve t-shirt. Welding hood and gloves required.
Job Duties
Perform MIG and TIG welding to assemble and repair metal components with precision.
Interpret and follow technical blueprints, sketches, and diagrams.
Cut, clean, shape, and align metal parts using proper tools and industry techniques.
Set and adjust welding parameters for optimal weld quality.
Conduct visual and mechanical tests to ensure weld integrity and alignment with quality standards.
Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment and tools.
Uphold OSHA safety standards and company procedures at all times.
Support additional fabrication and production tasks as needed.
Requirements
Prior experience in welding, metal fabrication, or fitting.
Proficient in both MIG and TIG welding techniques.
Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
Skilled in metal preparation, alignment, and weld finishing.
Familiarity with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
Commitment to safety and quality production standards.
