We are looking for a detail-oriented Final Quality Inspector to join our aerospace manufacturing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that precision components meet the highest quality standards before shipment. Job Duties:
Analyze and interpret operation sheets, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and travelers to ensure products meet or exceed customer specifications
Inspect finished parts visually and with precision measuring tools such as calipers, borescopes, rulers, gauges, and micrometers
Interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T) to complete thorough final inspections
Perform and document final quality checks in compliance with AS9100 and NADCAP standards
Confirm proper completion and accuracy of required paperwork
Evaluate and process non-conformance reports as needed
Record inspection data, update control charts, travelers, and report labor via ERP systems
Maintain a safe and clean work area, perform daily housekeeping duties, and wear all required PPE
Communicate inspection outcomes and process updates clearly and professionally
Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Management to resolve quality issues
Take ownership of responsibilities, showing integrity, dependability, and initiative
Execute additional tasks that support company goals, values, and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required
Must be a U.S. person per ITAR §120.15
Minimum 2 years of experience performing final inspections in aerospace or gas turbine manufacturing
Prior work within ISO9001, AS9100, or NADCAP-certified quality systems is a plus
Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T, and mechanical inspection methods
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Reliable attendance, excellent communication skills, and strong attention to detail
Must be able to read, write, and follow instructions in English
Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs regularly, stand for 50% or more of the shift, and perform routine bending, twisting, reaching, and grasping
Must have natural or corrected 20/20 vision and pass an annual vision test
Comfortable operating overhead cranes or lifting equipment as needed
