We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our packaging facility. This role is ideal for a proactive maintenance technician experienced in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining packaging machinery to ensure efficient and continuous production. Job Duties:
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain packaging machinery and related equipment to meet production goals
Follow and enhance preventative and predictive maintenance programs specific to packaging line machinery
Lead and support other maintenance technicians in daily maintenance and equipment fabrication tasks
Fabricate and modify packaging equipment components as needed
Complete additional maintenance duties assigned by the Facilities Manager
Requirements:
Proven experience as a maintenance technician working with packaging machinery and equipment
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with packaging line systems
Leadership ability to guide and train maintenance team members
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including overtime and weekends on short notice
Comfortable working indoors in a packaging facility environment
Job Details:
Location: Indoor packaging facility in Fort Wayne, Indiana
Shift: 1st Shift, 7:00am – 3:30pm, Monday through Friday
Willingness to work flexible hours including overtime and weekends as needed
Breaks: Two paid 10-minute breaks and a 30-minute unpaid lunch
