Data Center Warehouse Forklift Operator – Multiple Shifts Available | $20.50/hr Start
The Warehouse Data Center Forklift Operator plays a vital role in the safe and efficient handling of high-value IT equipment within a fast-paced warehouse setting. This position supports data center operations by ensuring all equipment is handled with care, tracked accurately, and transported using proper safety protocols.
Job Duties:
Forklift Operation: Safely operate Crown stand-up/reach trucks and other equipment to transport, load, and unload data center materials.
Equipment Handling: Handle sensitive IT hardware such as servers, racks, and cables with caution and precision.
Receiving and Shipping: Verify incoming shipments, inspect items for damage, and prepare outgoing shipments with accurate documentation.
Warehouse Organization: Keep the facility clean, orderly, and compliant with safety standards.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, including wearing PPE and using equipment properly.
Documentation: Accurately complete logs, checklists, and reports related to shipping, receiving, and incidents.
Collaboration: Work with warehouse staff and data center technicians to support seamless warehouse operations.
Requirements:
Previous experience operating Crown stand-up or reach trucks preferred.
Familiarity with handling and transporting sensitive IT equipment is a plus.
Ability to work in a physically demanding warehouse environment.
Must follow safety procedures and wear proper PPE.
Basic understanding of shipping and receiving processes.
Attention to detail and reliable documentation skills.
