Experience with CAD/CAM software and a commitment to producing quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment are essential.<br>Benefits:<ul><li>Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (30-minute unpaid lunch break)</li><li>Competitive pay based on experience $28-32/h</li><li>Growth opportunities and promote from within</li><li>Benefits, dental, vision</li></ul><br>Essential Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>Set up, operate, and maintain CNC and manual milling machines, lathes, and other machining equipment.</li><li>Program, edit, and optimize CNC machine programs to meet production requirements.</li><li>Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.</li><li>Select, install, and adjust tooling, fixtures, and cutting tools to ensure efficient and accurate production.</li><li>Utilize precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and related inspection tools, to verify product quality and dimensional accuracy.</li><li>Perform quality inspections and document results to ensure compliance with specifications and customer requirements.</li><li>Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements to enhance productivity and quality.</li><li>Maintain machine calibration and perform routine preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.</li><li>Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized tooling to modify, repair, or assemble components as needed.</li><li>Support product development, engineering projects, and production assembly activities.</li><li>Train, mentor, and provide technical guidance to entry-level machinists and other production personnel.</li><li>Assist with the maintenance and repair of hydraulic and mechanical presses.</li><li>Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.</li></ul><br>Qualifications:<ul><li>Previous experience operating and programming CNC milling machines and lathes.</li><li>Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, feeds, speeds, and manufacturing processes.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications.</li><li>Experience using precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment.</li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to perform mathematical calculations related to measurements, tolerances, and machining operations.</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.</li></ul><br>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience with CAD/CAM software, including AutoCAD and SolidWorks.</li><li>Experience with welding equipment and fabrication processes.</li><li>Experience with tooling setup and fixture design.</li><li>Forklift certification or forklift operating experience.</li><li>Experience with purchasing, inventory management, and vendor relations.</li></ul><br>Physical Requirements<ul><li>Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday.</li><li>Ability to lift and move materials, parts, and equipment as required.</li><li>Ability to work safely around moving machinery, manufacturing equipment, and industrial tools.</li><li>Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).</li></ul>]]></description>
