Summary
Full-time 1st shift opportunity in a moving and warehouse environment
Responsible for safely driving a crew using a box truck or similar vehicle
Move and transport furniture and merchandise for residential and commercial customers
Assist with loading and unloading trucks using pallet jacks and other provided equipment
Learn proper techniques for lifting, handling, and covering furniture and merchandise
Fast-paced, physical role requiring attention to safety and care when handling items
Responsibilities
Safely drive a box truck or similar truck to transport furniture and merchandise
Transport and move furniture and merchandise for residential and commercial customers
Safely load and unload trucks using pallet jacks and other provided equipment
Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
Properly lift, handle, and cover furniture and merchandise to prevent damage
Follow all safety procedures and safe driving practices
Maintain a clean and organized work area and truck
Work cooperatively with crew members to complete moving assignments efficiently
Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
Valid Operators driver's license and ability to safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday
Comfortable working in a fast-paced moving and warehouse environment
Strong attention to detail when handling furniture and merchandise
Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Dependable and professional with a strong work ethic
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
