Full-time 1st shift position (6:00am–2:00pm, Monday–Friday)

Summary
Full-time 1st shift opportunity with a manufacturer of precision grinding products
Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, engineering drawings, and manufacturing instructions
Set up and operate CNC equipment to produce quality machined parts
Perform accurate measurements and inspections using precision measuring instruments
Learn basic CNC programming concepts, including G-Code, and make minor program adjustments as needed
Maintain quality, safety, productivity, and documentation standards in a manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, engineering drawings, and manufacturing instructions
Fixture, set up, and operate CNC equipment
Select appropriate work holding and installing tooling
Make basic machine adjustments to maintain quality and productivity
Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, bore gages, indicators, comparators, and height gages
Learn and apply basic CNC programming concepts, including G-Code
Make minor program and controller adjustments as needed
Complete required inspections and record job information accurately
Perform routine equipment checks and communicate equipment or maintenance needs
Requirements
Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts
Ability to accurately measure and inspect parts using precision measuring tools
Willingness to learn CNC programming concepts and G-Code
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical work
