Summary
Part-time, 1st shift opportunity supporting an Environmental, Health & Safety program
Review, update, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, forms, checklists, and other documentation
Research OSHA and other applicable safety requirements
Work with employees and leaders to ensure procedures accurately reflect current work practices
Assist with safety audits, inspections, incident investigations, corrective actions, and safety training
Gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing and warehouse environment
Responsibilities
Review and update existing EHS policies, procedures, forms, and documentation
Identify outdated, missing, or unclear safety documentation and recommend improvements
Research OSHA and other applicable workplace safety requirements
Work with EHS, Engineering, Operations, HR, and employees to improve safety procedures
Help develop new safety procedures, checklists, forms, training materials, and employee communications
Assist with organizing and maintaining EHS records and documentation
Support safety audits, workplace inspections, incident investigations, and corrective actions
Assist with safety training and continuous improvement initiatives
Support other EHS, engineering, and operational projects as assigned
Requirements
Currently pursuing a degree in EHS, Occupational Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage documentation accurately
Comfortable researching information and writing or updating procedures
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with employees at all levels
Interest in workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement
Comfortable working in both office and warehouse/manufacturing environments
Must be comfortable walking through operational areas and wearing required PPE
Must follow all company safety policies and procedures
Must be able to pass a Background Check and Drug Screen
