Position: 2nd Shift Assembler Shift: 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm Pay Rate: $20.00 to 26.00 (Based on experience) Job Summary: Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies. Reads and deciphers schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions.Positions or aligns components and parts, either manually or with hoists. Uses hand tools or machines to assemble parts. Duties/Responsibilities but not limited to: Follow technical instructions, interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms• Discern quality of parts and materials used in production.• Inventory parts and tools used in the assembling process. • Follow company procedures and directives.• Test finished products for defects. • Maintain the tools used to create products. • Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace. Required Skills/Abilities: • Physical ability to stand, crouch, and lift objects throughout the workday • Ability to read blueprints, building plans • Ability to use hand tools and power tools. • Ability to follow instructions. • Excellent time management skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong knowledge of electronic systems Education and Experience: • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Previous experience in related field preferred. Physical Requirements:• Prolonged periods of standing and walking. • Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, and crawl into awkward spaces.• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time. Other Requirements: • Good communication skills • Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision• Outstanding organization skills • Ability to read, write, and understand English • Perform other duties within your skill set, as needed or directed.
