Job SummaryThe MRF Sorter is responsible for sorting recyclable materials from a conveyor line in a fast-paced recycling facility. This position requires constant movement, attention to safety, and the ability to maintain production pace. Responsibilities
Sort trash and recyclable materials from a conveyor belt
Work efficiently to keep up with production pace
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Support overall recycling operations
Work cooperatively with team members and onsite staff
RequirementsDesired Work Experience:
Previous labor, warehouse, or production experience preferred but not required
Additional Qualifications:
Must wear boots that cover the ankle; no tennis shoes
Ability to work early mornings and extended hours
Ability to work overtime on weekdays and Saturdays when required
Must pass a drug test and background check
Must complete required training video prior to starting
Reliable and dependable attendance
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
