We are seeking a dependable and experienced Crew Leader to oversee and complete residential and commercial construction projects in the Columbus area. This role involves hands-on work alongside managing a small crew, ensuring job specifications are met, and maintaining clear communication with operations leadership, customers, and team members. Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. until the job is complete (typically 33–55 hours/week)
Year-round employment
No weekends or holidays
Company vehicles provided for travel to job sites
Consistent local work in Columbus and surrounding areas
Job Duties
Perform basement restoration and waterproofing work
Install gutters and exterior drainage systems, including downspout drainage lines
Lay pipes and assist with excavation-related tasks
Lead and manage a crew of one to two workers while completing assigned job specifications
Communicate effectively with the Operations Foreman and Owner to ensure smooth job execution
Read and interpret work orders and relay instructions clearly to crew members
Operate mini excavator and mini skid steer when needed
Perform mid to heavy lifting, digging, and daily use of power tools
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site
Drive company vehicles to and from job locations
Interact professionally with customers and provide excellent customer service

Requirements
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Minimum of 2 years of construction experience
General knowledge of construction, masonry, and concrete work
Foundations
Drainage systems
Waterproofing
Excavation and grading
Experience operating mini excavators and mini skid steers is a plus
Strong communication skills and ability to lead by example
Ability to perform physically demanding work in varying conditions
