Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team full-time. This is a direct hire opportunity for a reliable individual with strong leadership capabilities, ideally located near the Lafayette, IN or Kokomo, IN area. This position offers long-term stability, competitive pay, benefits, and the chance to lead a high-performing crew on large-scale residential and apartment complex projects. Job Duties:
Perform electrical installations with a focus on Romex-type wiring in multi-family apartment complexes
Lead and supervise a crew of 4–5 electricians
Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Collaborate with team members and management to meet project deadlines
Requirements:
6–8 years of experience as a residential/commercial electrician is required
Strong background in Romex wiring and multi-unit construction projects
Ability to lead a crew and manage jobsite responsibilities
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints
Must live in or be willing to commute to Lafayette, IN or Kokomo, IN
Ability to lift and carry equipment as needed
Steel-toe boots required (all other PPE provided)
Valid driver’s license preferred
Job Details:
Monday–Thursday, 10–12 hour days
Start at 7:00 AM (flexible), typically done by 3–4 PM
Occasional Friday work during busy periods (up to 55 hours/week)
$30–$35/hr to start (based on experience), with potential to quickly earn up to $40/hr
