Are you mechanically inclined and looking for a hands-on career in manufacturing? We're seeking a Finishing Line Operator to join our production team. In this role, you'll operate bindery and finishing equipment to produce high-quality printed products while ensuring production, quality, and safety standards are met. What You'll Do
Operate high-speed finishing and bindery equipment to complete production orders.
Set up machines according to job specifications and production requirements.
Read and interpret job tickets to ensure accuracy and quality.
Perform finishing operations such as cutting, folding, die cutting, drilling, scoring, padding, and saddle stitching.
Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot minor issues as they arise.
Perform routine machine cleaning, lubrication, and preventative maintenance.
Maintain production goals while ensuring finished products meet quality standards.
Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines.
Qualifications
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn new equipment quickly.
Previous bindery, printing, machine operation, or manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.
Basic math skills, including working with decimals and measurements.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the shift.
