Summary:
Ensure product safety and quality from receiving through shipping.
Monitor Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and facility conditions.
Perform routine quality checks and inspections throughout production.
Support food safety standards and continuous quality improvement efforts.
Responsibilities:
Perform product weight checks and package integrity monitoring.
Monitor environmental and facility temperatures.
Conduct sanitizer station testing and metal detector checks.
Complete pre-shift inspections and ensure GMP compliance.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Assist with additional quality-related tasks as assigned.
Begin training toward Tech II role within 90 days.
Requirements:Desired Work Experience:
Previous experience in food manufacturing or quality assurance preferred.
Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment is a plus.
Education Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Additional Qualifications:
Ability to use smartphones or tablets for documentation and communication.
Strong teamwork skills and ability to work across multiple departments.
Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Ability to stand or walk for the duration of the shift.
Ability to perform basic math calculations.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to interpret instructions and work with limited supervision.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs (team lift required for anything over 40 lbs).
Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.
Ability to hear and communicate effectively in a production environment.
Adequate vision to inspect products and complete documentation.
Working Conditions:
Indoor manufacturing environment with variable temperatures, including cold conditions around 32°F.
