Position: Large Mechanical Assembly Tech Shift: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Pay Rate: $20.00 to $26.00 (based on experience) Job Summary: The ideal candidate should have a background in the assembly of electrical machinery, equipment, boards, etc. Background in sheet metal etc. This position is essential in developing a quality product. If you have a passion for manufacturing excellence and a commitment to quality. Duties/Responsibilities but not limited to: • General sheet metal assembly • Ability to read basic assembly drawings • General use of basic hand tools, drills, impact wrenches and ratchets • Ability to use/operate skyjack • Ability to use/operate cranes • Accurately read a tape measure Required Skills/Abilities: • Proven experience as an assembler in the manufacturing industry. • In-depth understanding of metal properties and machinery. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities • Use of ladders Education, Experience, Requirements: • High school or general equivalent Other Requirements: • Ability to work with minimal supervision • Standing for extending long periods of time • Frequent bending, kneeling • Working with arms extended above the shoulders • Self-starter
