Summary:
Assist Press Operators with high-speed offset sheetfed printing equipment.
Help prepare, set up, and maintain presses for production runs.
Load and stage materials needed for print jobs.
Monitor production and finished products to identify quality issues.
Assist with basic equipment adjustments, troubleshooting, changeovers, and cleanup.
Work closely with the press team to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Assist Press Operators with press setup, production runs, changeovers, and cleanup.
Load and stage paper, materials, and supplies needed for production.
Monitor equipment and finished products for quality and report any issues to the Press Operator.
Assist with basic machine adjustments and troubleshooting to help minimize downtime.
Follow job specifications, production procedures, and safety guidelines.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area around press equipment.
Work as part of a team to maintain an efficient production workflow and meet deadlines.
Requirements:
Previous printing experience preferred
Mechanically inclined and comfortable working around large production equipment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize when equipment or production is not operating correctly.
Reliable, dependable, and able to work effectively as part of a production team.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
Willingness to learn printing press equipment and production processes.
Ability to follow instructions, production procedures, and safety guidelines.
Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and consistency.
Ability to work 2nd Shift, with potential opportunities on 3rd Shift.
Previous manufacturing, machine operation, warehouse, automotive, mechanical, or industrial experience is a plus.
Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
