Responsibilities
Schedule pickup and delivery appointments for transportation operations.
Answer inbound calls and assist customers with delivery questions and shipment updates.
Communicate with customers and consignees regarding scheduling changes or potential delivery delays.
Enter and maintain accurate shipment information within the transportation management system.
Monitor freight movement and provide timely updates to customers and internal teams.
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and business partners.
Meet productivity goals while helping maximize efficiency and minimize transportation costs.
Utilize company software and technology platforms to support daily operations.
Collaborate with dispatch, operations, and customer service teams to ensure timely deliveries.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of office, customer service, administrative, or logistics experience.
Strong computer and data entry skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to prioritize work and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated with a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills.
