Warehouse Lead Shipping/Receiving Clerk Shift: 1st Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Compensation: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour (based on experience) About Us:We are a growing distribution and warehouse operation focused on efficient shipping, receiving, and inventory management. Summary:
Lead daily shipping and receiving operations within the warehouse.
Ensure accurate order pulling, staging, and shipment processing.
Maintain forklift certifications and safe equipment operation.
Support warehouse efficiency, safety, and communication across teams.
Responsibilities:
Accurately pull and prepare customer orders using basic math and unit measurements.
Operate forklifts and additional warehouse equipment, including wrapping machines.
Maintain certification on all forklifts used in the facility.
Communicate effectively with team members using a two-way radio.
Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing incoming and outgoing shipments.
Requirements:Desired Work Experience:
Previous warehouse experience, preferably in shipping and receiving.
Experience operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
Leadership or lead experience preferred.
Education Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Special Certifications Needed:
Forklift certification (or ability to obtain and maintain certification).
Additional Qualifications:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
Ability to bend, twist, squat/stoop, reach overhead, and stand for extended periods.
Ability to hear horns and backup alarms in a warehouse environment.
Strong verbal communication skills and ability to use a two-way radio effectively.
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, and division for order accuracy.
